Alex Besikian for Sillage | Artist Series Wide Shirt

By wandering in the streets, Alex Besikian collects through photos traces and imprints let by human passage
(architectural details, snatched posters, shadows,…).
Then, based on these fragments of the city, Besikian re-creates new abstract compositions
with a subtle process of digital layers and cutting before drawing them with traditionnal tools.
Undressed facades and empty spaces are turned into a colorful print for this limited edition Sillage piece.
